Machined from a solid block of aircraft grade 6061-T651 aluminum and almost 7/8" thick in the cross section, The Rock Box was built for abuse!
Clock-able in 7 degree increments from stock to flat, Twin stick design allows independent selection of any gear including front dig in high or low, universal design allows the case to be built in either passenger or driver drop orientation without any extra parts, install 4:1 gear set with no fitment/clearance issues. Case works with 1981 and newer long rear output housing and all aftermarket rear output housings available currently. All holes in the case are blind including the intermediate shaft to eliminate any potential leaks.
NOT all intermediate shafts are made the same, our case is manufactured with this shaft hole blind to eliminate this leak point. The intermediate shaft total length needs to be 5” or under, the case also has a flat to index the stock style shaft machined into the case, it’s best to dry fit the case halves with this shaft in place to verify.
Includes: Main Case body, Case lid, Complete shifting assembly, Front output bearing retainer (stock or 32 spline), Front output preload cap and all necessary fasteners to assemble case.
